Critical update: Supreme Court ruling 22 November 2024 (AG Lagos v AG Federation, SC/1/2008) nullified the National Lottery Act 2005 and confined the National Lottery Regulatory Commission to the FCT only. State-level regulators (LSLGA, OYSGB, etc.) now hold exclusive jurisdiction. Federal Central Gaming Bill in National Assembly opposes the Supreme Court ruling; FSGRN has called for its withdrawal. FCT Authority created its own FCTA-LRO post-ruling.
